ATTENTION: HEAT IN THE CHURCH FAILED THIS WEEK
The central heating system for the church failed this week. The repair service was called, and repairs can be made upon the receipt of a part which as of Friday, January 19 was still in Kansas. We have asked that the part be shipped for Saturday delivery, but we do not know at this time whether the heater will be repaired in time to heat the church Sunday morning. At present we are planning to hold services in the church building on Sunday, but we will make the final determination as to whether to celebrate the Eucharist in church or in the parish hall on Sunday morning. Sorry about this inconvenience.

Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday school in the Chapel consists of a three part series on the story of the Hebrew people beginning with how the Hebrews came to be “enslaved” in Egypt, freed by Moses, and then occupied Canaan. Sunday's topic is “The Exodus.” This is a "must-see" program. The topic for next Sunday will be “Joshua and His Trumpets.” This class will take place in the Chapel, which is heated!

If You See New People At Church
- Show them the visitor's packet in the pews, and ask them if they wouldn't mind filling out visitor card so that we may send them some information about Trinity on Monday. They can put the card in the offering plate.
- Please invite them to join you for coffee and light refreshments in the Parish Hall after the service. You might also want to point out where the restrooms and water fountain are.
- If they have children, remind them that we have a staffed youth room for young children and a nursery for infants. Please take them back to the rooms and introduce them to our staff. Tell them that right after the Nicene Creed in the worship service, their children will be brought to the sanctuary so that they can take communion with all of us.
- Finally, ask them if they are familiar with the Episcopal tradition. If they are not, please show them in the bulletin that all Baptized persons are invited to God's Holy Table and to take communion with us. At Trinity we invite all the Baptized, regardless of present or past denominational affiliation to join us in the memorial celebration of Jesus' Last Supper.
I hope you find this weekly announcement bulletin from Trinity Parish, Hattiesburg helpful and informative. It is intended to provide you with news of the parish and upcoming activities for the weekend and next week in our community.
See you in church on Sunday!
