Cintia de los Santos' Benefit Recital, 3:00 p.m., Sunday May 4
Cintia, a student at William Carey University, will be presenting a benefit recital in the church. If you were in church on Easter Day, you heard her beautiful performance of Mozart's Exultate Jubilate. This benefit is to help offset the cost of her education in this country. Cintia, a native of Brazil, has also been chosen to play the role of Papagena in The Magic Flute in Italy this summer, if she can raise the funds to travel there. If you would like to make a donation and get a tax deduction, please make your check payable to Trinity Church and put it in an envelope with Cintia's name on it. Do not put her name on the check. Envelopes with her name on them will be available at the recital.

HOLY LEISURE a silent retreat with special guidance from licensed Spiritual Directors March 28 -30, May 2-4, August 8-10, & November 7-9. Maybe it's a reaction to our hectic, media-driven new century, or perhaps it's just the logical progression for those who seek a life in Christ. Whatever the reason, our HOLY LEISURE silent retreats are attracting seekers of all ages. Be still, and know that I am God (Psalm 46:10) reminds us of the importance of quieting our minds and calming our spirits in order to hear God's presence in our lives. Under the guidance of licensed trained Spiritual Directors, participants will be given spiritual tools that will allow the "ambient noise" of our lives to diminish and be fully present with God. For registration information please contact The Rev. Debo Dykes, debo@dioms.org, or 601-948-5954.
