Trinity Parish Weekly Announcements
What's Happening at Trinity Church, May 27 - June 2, 2007

Sunday, May 27

Multiple Language Gospel Sunday.  In Sunday's services, to commemorate the action of the Holy Spirit that enabled the disciples to speak languages other than their own to the people of Jerusalem on the Day of Pentecost, we are doing two things.  First, the psalm will be written in two column format.  The left column is the one we will read/chant in church.  The right column alternates between English and languages other than English.  Second, the Gospel will be read simultaneously in multiple languages followed by a reading in English only.  These actions are acts of anamnesis of that day when the people of Jerusalem heard the disciples in different languages.

Comcast will be filming our Pentecost services this Sunday.
