Marge West, a resident of Pine Meadows Alzheimer Special Care Center, 107 Fox Chase Drive, needs a ride to Trinity to attend the 10:30 am Sunday service.  Marge has been a member of Trinity for a very long time.  She uses a walker, but is quite mobile.  She would be very grateful if you would prayerfully consider taking on her transport as a personal ministry.  I would too!  Pine Meadows is on Fox Chase Drive just east of the Loyalton center.  Fox Chase is exactly 0.6 miles south of Forrest General on 28th.  If you live in that area of town and attend the 10:30 am service, please consider giving Marge a ride.  You can call her directly at 601-271-8480 to arrange things with her. Thanks for considering this ministry.   - Fr.Bill

Beginning in 2003, the mission of the AIDS Services Coalition (ASC) is to provide housing, case management, and HIV education/prevention to those persons living with HIV/AIDS and those affected by HIV/AIDS.  Other activities of the ASC include recognition of World AIDS Day in December of each year with memorials and services being held throughout the world.  ASC—in collaboration with other agencies—coordinates the annual event with speakers, memorials and a candle light vigil.  Participation is sought from community leaders, service organizations and elected officials from our service area.  ASC also sponsors the Annual AIDS Walk for Life with other resources from the community, the university, service organizations and volunteers.    HIV screening is available in a confidential setting.  The AIDS Services Coalition draws many groups together to increase awareness and provide an opportunity for the community to become better informed about HIV—truths and myths.
