USM Chaplain Needs Your Help.  Student Move-in Day at USM is Saturday August 18th.  The Episcopal Group will be working with the Wesley Methodist Group to help the students.  One of the ways we will assist is by handing out water as well as assisting with actual moving.  Because Move-in Day lasts all day, feel free to come to the Quad area on campus when you can and lend a hand.  Secondly, the Episcopal Campus ministry will begin Sunday Night Supper Club at The Episcopal Church of the Ascension at 5:30 pm on September 2nd.  If you have a musical talent such as (but not limited to) guitar or piano that you are willing to share, please get in touch with Fr. Bill Barfield at 601-818-9227.

I want to ask for your help. Marge West, a resident of Pine Meadows Alzheimer Special Care Center, 107 Fox Chase Drive, needs a ride to Trinity to attend the 10:30 am Sunday service.  Marge has been a member of Trinity for a very long time.  She uses a walker, but is quite mobile.  She would be very grateful if you would prayerfully consider taking on her transport as a personal ministry.  I would too!  Pine Meadows is on Fox Chase Drive just east of the Loyalton center.  Fox Chase is exactly 0.6 miles south of Forrest General on 28th.  If you live in that area of town and attend the 10:30 am service, please consider giving Marge a ride.  You can call her directly at 601-271-8480 to arrange things with her. Thanks for considering this ministry.                                                Bill

The University of Southern Mississippi DuBard School for Language Disorders is celebrating its 45th year of service to children with severe language speech disorders or hearing impairments. To celebrate this special occasion, honor bricks are being sold to line the front walk and entrance into the school for $300.  The DuBard School held a special place in Abbie Rogers heart.  Trinity will purchase one of these bricks in her honor.  If you would like to contribute toward the purchase of this honor brick in Abbie’s name, place your contribution in one of the white envelopes in the pews with Abbie’s name and “honor brick” written on the front of the envelope.
