What's Happening at Trinity Church, September 16-22, 2007

CONGRATULATIONS TO LT. COL. PETER BAUER.  Peter, who is assigned to Camp Shelby and who attends Trinity, received the official notice of his promotion from Major to Lt. Colonel.  Please congratulate him when you see him!

DON'T FORGET THE SAFE CHURCH TRAINING AT TRINITY THIS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 BEGINNING AT 8 AM!  The Diocesan training program entitled, "Safeguarding God's Children for Ministries and For Parents and Congregations" will be presented by The Rev. Cn. David Johnson and Dr. Leigh Jensen, Chair of the Safe Church Committee at Trinity Church from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday September 15. It is a requirement of the Bishop and of this church that every person - all paid staff and all volunteers - over the age of 18 who works with youth, children, or in the nursery receive this training. It is also the expectation that all vestry persons, paid staff, and wardens will attend the training. If you have had this specific training in the past, it is not necessary to take it again; however, you will need to provide a certificate or other documentation of that prior training.
